Earlier this week, Bloomfield College President Richard Levao and Vice President Marion Terenzio, along with CCP President Suzanne Ishee, enjoyed a visit from the Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Ana Montero. The college grounds are in full bloom and Commissioner Montero very much enjoyed a campus tour given by immediate past Student Government President, Roydon Pellew.
Conversation with the commissioner was lively and productive and included talk of CCP’s training program, case study project and impact evaluation tool. As a result of this initial conversation, the CCP team anticipates building a productive and collaborative relationship with the DCA. Talks are already underway regarding our next steps.
In addition, discussions centered around the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit. This excellent incentive is already being utilized in 15 municipalities across New Jersey.
